How to Stop Sweaty Armpits - Live the Dry Life

Living life feeling clean and fresh is important. Not having that clean fresh feeling can often times make it difficult for you to participate in your daily activities. I used to suffer from having sweaty underarms, which many times kept me from doing alot of social activities. I had a hard time deciding on what clothes I should wear, as some colors I found to really show my armpits, while others did a better job of disguising my sweat marks. I searched desperately for ways on how to stop sweaty armpits.

Now understanding that sweating is a normal body function, and it occurs to regulate your internal temperature. When it raises, your pores open up and release sweat to cool you down. However if you are anything like me, you often find yourself sweating, even though you aren't feeling warm. This is something that not a huge percent of the population encounter, but a large number of people do. The percentage of the entire population of the world that experiences this is roughly 2 or 3 percent, but when you factor in the billions of people worldwide, this is a very large number. It is medically known as hyperhidrosis, and it usually only impacts armpit sweating. It is possible to stop sweaty armpits, but you must find the right cure that is going to work for you.

Sweaty armpits are normally caused by primary hyperhidrosis, which often times is a hereditary condition, or you may have simply have been born with an overactive nervous system. I had primary hyperhidrosis, but no one else in my family had it. Another cause of the excessive sweating could be from secondary hyperhidrosis, which can be caused from a medical condition such as diabetes. Excessive sweating from this would occur where ever in your body you had the most sweat glands, which can vary from person to person.

When you are looking at how to stop sweaty armpits, you should first look for easy natural methods before relying on medication or surgery. If you have excess body weight, try losing body fat, as body fat may cause you to sweat more than normal.

You could also try antiperspirants or deodorants that have a high aluminum chloride concentration to them. Most of the time they are effective if you suffer from mild amounts of excessive armpit sweating. Be forewarned however, these antiperspirants often cause skin irritations or rashes if you have sensitive skin.

I personally recommend natural remedies that are cost efficient and aren't irritating to the body. I've used this method myself to stop my sweaty armpits, and you can find more about my personal experience with sweating, and how I dealt with it at the link below.
